Ethical Non-Monogamy & Polyamory
Navigating even the most traditional relationship style can be a challenge. When your journey looks different, it can be even more complex. At Every Love Therapy, you will receive affirming treatment with nonjudgmental guidance in navigating ethical non-monogamy (ENM), and a full range of diverse relationship dynamics.
If you practice ethical non-monogamy or polyamory, you may have previously hesitated to seek therapy out of concern that your relationship structure will be treated as the problem or that therapy will quietly steer you toward monogamy. Know that this is not the case here. Here, every love matters.
What Affirming ENM Therapy means here…
Ethical non-monogamy includes many forms of consensual, transparent relationship structures. These relationships can be deeply fulfilling, but they can also bring complexity, especially during periods of change. Affirming therapy does not assume a “default” relationship model. It respects consent, autonomy, and relational diversity.
Affirming ENM therapy:
Does not assume monogamy as the goal
Understands non-monogamy as a valid relationship structure
Centers on consent, communication, and agency
Avoids moralizing or prescriptive outcomes
If you’re practicing ENM or polyamory, you may be seeking therapy for:
Communication challenges
Boundary negotiation
Jealousy, insecurity, and anxious attachment
Relationship transitions
Identity exploration
Nervous system regulation
I work with individuals navigating ENM and offer relationship-focused support without default scripts or assumptions about how relationships should look.
